The C4R residency programme hosted researchers Maria Francesca de Tullio and Angela María Osorio Méndez in Paris from 23 to 27 June 2021. Maria Francesca de Tullio, legal scholar and doctor in constitutional law, and Angela María Osorio Mendez, urban researcher and doctor in urban studies, have a particular focus on the topics of the commons and participatory democracy.
Two workshops organised by AAA (Doina Petrescu, Constantin Petcou and Diego Jenowein) in partnership with Frédéric Sultan (Remix the Commons) took place at two R-Urban network hubs, the Agrocité in Bagneux (on 24 June) and the Agrocité in Gennevilliers (on 25 June). These workshops are part of the residency and action research programme on the issues of collective governance and commons-based resilience. These revolved around a self-assessment process on the management of each site, and gave rise to fruitful discussions with site users on the past and present of both Agrocités. On Saturday 26 June, the two researchers also participated in a panel discussion as part of the celebration of the 20 years of ECObox (a project initiated by the Atelier d’Architecture Autogérée in 2001).
